GRI provided geotechnical services for the Seismic Retrofit and Addition to Fire Station 69. The project includes seismically retrofitting the existing station and expansion of the existing facilities. The expansion included an approximately 2,000-square-foot addition on the south side of the existing station, additional parking, and a new retaining wall on the east side of the station.

GRI conducted a geotechnical investigation to evaluate subsurface conditions at the site and develop conclusions and recommendations for site preparation and earthwork, subdrainage and floor support, design and construction of foundations, and seismic design considerations. The investigation included subsurface explorations and engineering analyses.
