Associate 

Thomas joined GRI in 2014 after finishing his Masters in Geotechnical Engineering at UC Berkeley.  As an Associate, Thomas will be responsible for advanced engineering analysis, reporting, project management, and client development. He is responsible for managing a wide variety of projects and mentoring GRI’s younger staff.  He has extensive experience with foundation design and construction, landslide evaluation, and shored excavations.

What interests you most about geotechnical engineering?
The most interesting aspect of geotechnical engineering is that there are often multiple solutions to any problem, which allows us to work creatively to meet a client’s need.

What is your favorite project completed at GRI?
My favorite project completed at GRI was the Patriot Hall Renovation at Clatsop Community College.

What is your favorite thing about working at GRI?
The best thing about working at GRI is the people. I feel fortunate to have coworkers that help create an interesting and friendly work environment.
