Senior Engineer

Tom joined GRI in 2013 while completing his master’s degree at Portland State University. As a Project Engineer, he is responsible for managing complex field exploration programs, soil and rock engineering analysis, and comprehensive report preparation. He has extensive experience in structural fill conditioning, placement, and compaction; horizontal drains; deep foundation construction; and seismic design. Over the past seven years, he has served as a staff and project engineer for GRI on multiple projects that have included placement and compaction of more than 40 feet of structural fill soil for building foundation preparation.
