Senior Marketing Coordinator

Shay joined GRI in July 2026. With five years of experience in the AEC industry, she supports the marketing department through proposal development, business development, and event coordination. Over the past four years, she has served as a Proposal Manager for large civil engineering firms, bringing extensive experience leading prime proposals to the team.

Where is your hometown? How did it shape who you are today?
I am originally from Chester, CA but have been in Beaverton, OR since 4th grade. Starting my life and spending my summers growing up in the outdoors of the Sierra Nevadas taught me a deep love for the outdoors and hunting and fishing.

Favorite meal?
Sushi or Mexican.

An interesting fact about yourself.
After graduating from Oregon State, I spent 6 months teaching in an English Immersion program in Kokkola, Finland.
