Nick Peterson

Nick joined GRI in 2023 after finishing his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. As a staff engineer, he is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock, engineering analyses, and providing construction observation services.

What interests you most about geotechnical engineering?
No two project sites or jobs are the same and bring their own set of challenges to problem solve.

Where is your hometown? How did it shape who you are today?
I was born and raised in Keizer Oregon. The community and opportunities in the area allowed me to discover my passions in civil engineering.

An interesting fact about yourself?
I chose by the age of 10 years old to peruse civil engineering as a career.
