Lauren Stern

Staff Geologist

Lauren joined GRI in 2024 after finishing her Masters in Geology from South Dakota School of Mines. As a staff geologist, she is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock, and providing construction observation services. She has experience in geophysical surveying and seismic imaging, specifically using receiver functions to confine large-scale tectonic discontinuities.
