Cathleen McMahon, PhD

Lab Manager

Cathleen joined GRI in 2021 as Lab Coordinator. In her new role as Laboratory Manager, her responsibilities include managing lab testing schedules, sample analysis, and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment. She graduated with a B.S. in Geology from the University of Minnesota, and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and has a background in petrology and geochemical analysis.

Favorite meal?:
Anything Thanksgiving related, especially stuffing.

Favorite activity outside of work?:
My hobbies include listening to murder mysteries while running and knitting.

An interesting fact about yourself:
I completed the 2021 Boston Marathon.
