
Caroline Schulze
Pavement Engineer
Caroline joined GRI in 2025 after finishing her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in civil engineering. As a Pavement Staff Engineer, she is responsible for conducting PCI surveys, performing laboratory testing and assisting in pavement designs. She has extensive experience conducting asphalt pavement permeability laboratory tests. Before joining GRI she gained professional experience organizing and analyzing data in ArcGIS and producing plan sets for construction following WSDOT standards.
Where is your hometown? How did it shape who you are today?
Being from Loveland, Colorado and growing up surrounded by beautiful mountains fostered an unconditional love of the outdoors!!

Gyros and falafel!!!!!!
Favorite activity outside of work?
I love snowboarding, hiking, canoeing, crafting and going to concerts!
