George is a Principal at GRI who has over 38 years of technical experience in the application of engineering geology, groundwater hydrology, and environmental management in Oregon and Washington. He has assisted agencies, counties, and cities with characterizing geologic conditions for a variety of public and private projects involving slope stability and foundation design.
Why George for the Interstate Bridge Replacement?
As Engineering Geologist, George brings extensive experience through delivering 500+ projects for GRI. He also manages GRI’s environmental services and has directed nearly 400 Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), 100 underground storage tank (UST) investigations, and 75 soil and groundwater remediation studies. George has a deep breadth of experience with a wide variety of projects, clients, and owners throughout the Pacific Northwest. Some of the relevant stakeholders he has experience with include: ODOT, WSDOT, Multnomah County, TriMet, and PBOT.
