Tammy Kimball, PE, GE
Tammy Kimball joined GRI in 1996 after completing her bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. She completed her Masters Degree in 1999, and with the exception of two sabbaticals between 2003-2005 and 2015-2017, has been practicing geotechnical engineering in the Pacific Northwest with GRI since then. As a Senior Engineer, she is responsible for project management and engineering for numerous, varied projects ranging from large transportation projects to recreational boating facilities.

Favorite activity outside of work?
Cruising on our sailboat.
What is your favorite thing about working at GRI?
The people. GRI has been like a large extended family. Many of my coworkers have been at GRI as long or longer than I have, and the camaraderie we have shared has made it a special place to spend a career.
An interesting fact about yourself.
At age 58, I found out I was adopted. I gained a whole new wonderful family!
