Staff Engineer
Olive joined GRI after finishing her bachelor’s in civil engineering and working as a Structural Designer. As a Geotechnical Staff Engineer, she is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory tests of soil and rock, performing engineering analyses, and providing construction observation services. She is eager to advance her technical knowledge and embrace new challenges in the field.
What interests you most about geotechnical engineering?
I am interested in experiencing how geotechnical engineering combines science and engineering to solve real-world problems related to the earth (plus, I’m excited to play with dirt!)
Favorite activity outside of work?
Traveling! There’s something amazing about catching a flight to a new destination and exploring unfamiliar places.
