Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Tyler attended the University of Washington to obtain his BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Geotechnical Engineering. While at the UW he was an active member of the Union Bay Rowing Club and Husky Ski Team. As a Master’s student he spearheaded a pilot project to test the viability of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance technology for site investigation. He joined GRI in 2020 as part of the engineering staff team. He will be responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock, performing engineering analyses, and providing construction observation services.
