Trevor joined GRI in September of 2017. He completed his Master’s degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical engineering focus at Virginia Tech University in December of 2015. His research focused on the swelling behavior of fine-grained soils treated with varying concentrations of polyelectrolytes. Prior to joining GRI, Trevor provided engineering services on multiple large-scale projects in Michigan and Indiana involving ground improvement, deep and shallow foundations, and earth retention systems. As a member of the engineering staff, he works under the close direction of a project engineer or principal and is responsible for completing subsurface explorations, providing construction observation services, laboratory testing of soil and rock, and engineering analyses for a variety of projects involving geotechnical, foundation, and seismic design.
