Nora joined GRI in June of 2017 after completing her Master’s degree at Oregon State University. Nora’s Master’s research focused on the relationship between crustal composition and ore genesis in ancient magma chambers in Washington and Oregon. Prior to joining the GRI team, Nora worked with the National Park Service as a hydrology assistant and environmental educator. As a staff geologist, she works under the close direction of a project geologist or principal and is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock, completing GIS analyses and ground reconnaissance, and conducting Phase I and Phase II ESAs.
