SolarWorld

SolarWorld
Hillsboro, Oregon

SolarWorld is North America’s biggest solar manufacturing plant. The company’s main building, which measures about 480,000 sq ft, was formerly a semiconductor factory built in the late 1990s by Komatsu Group, but never put into full production. GRI provided geotechnical services to Komatsu Group during design and construction of their original facility and recently worked with SolarWorld to design their new world headquarters at the former Komatsu site.
