Geotechnical Resources, Inc. (GRI) was established in 1984 by Stan Kelsay and Dave Driscoll. Today, the firm is headed by principals Dwight Hardin and Michael Reed and associates George Freitag and Scott Schlechter. Kelsay and Driscoll continue to serve the firm as principal engineers. Each of the principals of GRI has practiced in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years. The firm has a total staff of 25, with a technical staff of 20 geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists. The size and technical excellence of the staff permit GRI to offer a broad range of expertise, plus personalized service to each client. GRI personnel have the practical, hands-on experience required to economically and accurately characterize site conditions and provide innovative yet practical and buildable recommendations for design and construction.
